We went to a little town about 3 hours south of here, on the ocean, for 3 days.
One day we went out to the beach, where there are often dolphins spotted. Miss Rose waded out up to her hips -- and a dolphin swam right up to her!
We went to the dolphin discovery center nearby and learned a lot about dolphins too. There was a big dolphin skeleton in there and a lot of other useful info. I thought it would be great to do a lapbook about dolphins when we got home but so far the kids haven't seemed interested.
