I forgot this bit about the Creation Museum.
This is a bit of review from the Maxwells' blog:
For those families who are as conservative as we are, I have a few additional comments. The Planetarium was fantastic. We did not go to the Men in White or the Dragon video. We did go to the Second Adam video at the end. In this video, Jesus is clearly presented as the Perfect Sacrifice, but it was too graphic for us, and so we just closed our eyes for a little while.
Now, we also sat through the Second Adam video. At the parts where the lovely Maxwell family closed their eyes, Jr. watched carefully and had one comment to make. Loudly. From the back row.
"DAT'S FUNNY!"
We are trying to raise our kids right, truly, we are.

Hi! In response to your last several blogs, all I can think of is "COOOOOL!" When we come over I want to go to the Creation Museum!
As for the banana trees:
10. There was a sale somewhere on banana trees going REALLY cheap
9. They are not really banana trees but a facsimile thereof
8. There was a sale somewhere on monkeys and the people who bought them needed something for them to eat
7. Someone started a rumor that bananas are good for curing cancer or for weight reduction
6. The world is full of banana doppelgangers
5. Someone started a rumor that you can get high from smoking banana leaves
4. They were leftovers from the Creation Museum
3. It's an optical illusion--they are really aspidistra
2. Banana trees are the next lawn ornament fad--watch for little outfits and costumes for bananas coming out in the next few weeks
1. Bananas are replacing fossil fuels
