Saturday

Nothing much to tell you really! Got up late this morning, like 10am; did some chores and a bit of general cleaning, went to the library, paid massive fines; went to Buddy Rogers, looked at over-priced violins for Miss Rose; went to Kroger, bought a pork roast to turn into pulled pork for church lunch tomorrow; came home, watched the menfolk launch a rocket; read a book; read another book; ate salad fresh from the garden and homemade toasted bread with lashings of butter, and guzzled homemade iced tea; practiced the banjo -- yes, I said BANJO.

What's it to ya?

ROFLOL Moey, I want a photo of your pregnant self playing your banjo. :-P It would do me the world of good. Fat chance, huh?

I'll have you know that Tom says it looks surprisingly, perfectly natural. He said he wasn't sure I'd take that statement as a compliment.

Moey, I'm glad to see you've been gone about as long as I have. I was lying there tonight thinking I might finally add something to my blog and thinking that I should really try and contact you because you must be getting close to due and I was wondering how baby's health was and feeling like an awful friend, so I tried to post to my blog and couldn't remember my password and was re-applying for that when I found your message in my spam box asking me where I was?

Woops.

Write this down somewhere and then delete it off my comments - if you can and you don't mind - momysgrls@yahoo.com.au. I promise to email ya back...eventually. ;-)

I always love reading about what you have been up too.

How are you doing emotionally with the up coming birth and things?

And last but not least....CONGRATULATIONS on a GIRL!!! How cool!

J and I went to music shops and sussed out banjos! What kind is yours? We looked at a "backless" one which is preferred by people who travel around, tho the sound is not as good as the full banjo. Is yours a "backless" or a full one (heavy)? I've gotta try that out when we get over there!! Have you learned a tune yet?

statue on the lawn! I just wanted my own van sized parking space with my name on it:-) I have decided that the ability to return library books on time is encoded in a gene along with your DNA...

Hey Moe,

That's cool about yer banjo playing. My bro, Mike, has his with him now, and we're going to use it in church on Sunday.

BTW: Do you know how to get two banjo players to play in unison?

Shoot one!

And since you play the flute too...do you know what the difference is between a banjo and a flute?

Flutes don't burn!

But seriously, I LOVE the banjo. My latest favourite music: The Avett Brothers. Look em up. You'll love them.

Max
