At Krohn Conservatory, we were surprised at this wonderful Christmas Tree, completely decorated with handmade, natural-world ornaments. We must have stared at it for an hour, trying to commit to memory what had been crafted and how it was done. God's designs in nature are so beautiful, and people, as they looked and arranged ever so carefully, made the most fantastic little things for this huge tree.
Corn cob wreaths -- who knew? Turkey-feather flowers....Oh, and I was so enchanted by this pretty garland. Made from -- dried and cut -- lemon and orange skins.Corn-husk angels, fluffy wool sheep, hand-stitched felt, braided wheat figures....
Taking notes....
