So what is the big man working on? Or is that a secret? Or did you tell me already, and I forgot? lol. I think that afghan is very pretty. Cookies look good. Bread yum. Quiches deleeshous. :-) Oh and that baby, she is SO pretty!!! I dunno, looks like a pretty good day to me Moey. :-)
Daddy made a workbench with Josiah, part 4-H project, and part just-cuz-they-wanted to.
Recycled the unused parts of the other picnic table and some wood they found in the garage, and some old nails they inherited. LOL.
It was actually a much busier day even than it looked, I didn't get photos of everything obviously! Glad you enjoyed. Errrrm, did you notice that the afghan (which is not finished) had been under attack this morning -- hence the small bits of yarn lying around? I did not get photos of two young hooligans RUNNING around the house with a pair of scissors, each....
Very productive day. I can close my eytes and smell the aroma of your house all say long. Great pics of the family. Love the men working together. The kids look so at peace...and the food delicious!
Shelly, Mamma doesn't tolerate noise exceptionally well, so, yes, it's usually pretty quiet. I mean, it's 5 children's worth of "quiet," but that can't be anywhere near your numbers' worth. LOL.
Wammy, it smelled pretty awesome in here yesterday -- ginger pork soup, then spice bread, then molasses cookies, then bacon quiche... it was a good day for fatties!
Deb -- I feel a frogging coming on. Somebody stop me. LOL

Looks like a very productive day! This is like medicine to a poor, back-achey Mammam who misses you all so much! Thank you so much, Moey!! XOXOXOXO

I did notice...wasn't sure what was going on but thought maybe you were done with the afghan and tying in/cutting off loose ends. lol.
I also noticed Jr's afghan -- the kitty one. One of my personal faves. :-)
I wish blogging wasn't so time-consuming 'cause I could seriously get used to this.

Your house looks so QUIET~! Are you guys ever just noisy?? I long for a quiet house, but alas, we are a NOISY bunch of Burks, lol.
