And, here's the proof:I just made a Scooby Doo cake with your instructions and it turned out so great!I made the Scooby Doo several days before hand and just left it sit in my freezer until i needed it. Worked awesome, no problems at all.
Thanks so much for sending me the photos of your great cake, Lea! It's awesome. I bet he loved it.

I'm so excited to do this! I pinned your tutorial months ago, and I'll be using it for my baby's first birthday this week! I'll send you pictures.

Thanks for the reminder! My Grandma has done this for years for all the grandkids (and young at heart- I remember a Donald Duck cake for my Dad's 40th)and now I will have to do it for my Son's 3rd birthday this year!
I was on the brink of a nervous breakdown yesterday. I used this technique for the first time and to make a Scooby cake of all things, and it was a complete disaster!!! IDK if it was the icing I used or that I put my coloring sheet on the front if the glass, but I thought it was frozen;however, it fell apart, turned to mush, dyed part of the cake, etc. I ended up filling in with a star tip and outlining the whole pic again. I used Wilton's pre-made decorating icing and I'm thinking that was the problem but I wish someone could tell me for sure what I did wrong!! HELP! I have another cAke to make next week and cant take the heartache!! Lol
